BEDROCK GRAVEL FESTIVAL

The “Off” The Bike

If you are interested in this gravel festival, you must be one of us, and we love a good time! On or off the bike the energy remains the same! We’ve put together a combination of events for the afternoons. Below you can find out more about them!

Wine Tasting with local wines

Did you know? Cyprus has a tradition in Wine. The steep grades you’ve been climbing and the rocky paths full of stone and clay you’ve been rolling over make for excellent terroir!

Cooking School

Roll up those sleeves! the workshop involves cooking. We’ll teach you how to make ‘Koupepia’, one of the most traditional meals here in Cyprus.

Basket Weaving Workshop

In the neighbouring community of Choirokitia you will find a renovated old traditional house of 1850 which converted into a Basket Weaving Workshop and Museum. There you find unique exhibits. You will watch how they are made from the hands of Mr. Petros Nikolaou who is the heart of the place.

Local Microbrewery

Post Race Beers are good for the health. Especially if they come from an award winning microbrewery!

Skills and Beer

We love to play! Come down to the bikecenter whenever you please. There’ll be a cold beer and a rock garden!

The Master of the Grill

In greek we say that the way to someone’s heart, passes through the stomach. Well tonight you’re gonna love us! Vegetarians included!

Yoga Sessions

Nothing like starting your day with a good stretch, a deep breath and an appreciation of the sun and breeze

Bike Mechanic Workshop

Tips and Tricks. Are you up to speed with all the bits and pieces of your bike? Custom Builts, conversions, specs?
Let’s get down to the nitty gritty. It’s ok to be a nerd sometimes

A Day in Limassol (for non-riders)

A bus will take you to an organised excursion in Limassol most beautiful local spots. You might visit the old port, taste some commandaria or walk the coastal road up to the new marina. Whatever we do we promise it’ll be grand!

Hallumi Making (for non-riders)

A visit to a local goat farm will convince you that Cyprus still has a strong bond to its tradition. Loulla will show us how halloumi is made, and if we time it well we might get to taste it fresh and warm as it comes out of the cooking pot!
