Explore the most remote area of Cyprus
The route starts from the picturesque Kato Pyrgos cove. After crossing the main road of the community you will soon ascend to the lush pine forest of the area.
The view from the very first peaks is incredible as it combines the green of the mountain with the blue of the sea. The first uphills, although difficult in some places, however, the frequent alternation with downhills makes the cycling experience more enjoyable.
Continuing in the forest you will ascend to the also remote communities of Kampos and Tsakistra before reaching the road that will lead you to Stavros of Psoka and from there to Pigenia and back to Kato Pyrgos.
Along its entire length, the route offers wonderful views of the mountain and the sea in places where absolute tranquility prevails. It is very likely that on your way you will encounter mouflons!
